Jakarta – Prontt.com, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto attended China’s Victory Day military parade in Beijing on Wednesday at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, joining other world leaders including Russia’s Vladimir Putin and North Korea’s Kim Jong Un.
Prabowo landed in Beijing at 4:15 a.m. local time and arrived at Tiananmen Square just after 8 a.m. for the parade.
On the honorary platform, he was seated beside Putin, with Xi and Kim nearby, along with Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and other guests.
The parade showcased new-generation Chinese weaponry, including tanks, aircraft, reconnaissance drones, hypersonic anti-ship missiles and air defense systems, underscoring Beijing’s military deterrence.
